Dr. Dahlgren has always had a special place in her heart for senior and geriatric pets and the families who care for and love them. She strives to make their last days as gentle, sacred, and well-lived as the rest of their lives. She has been certified in acupuncture through Colorado State University since 2008 and became one of the first veterinarians to be certified in hospice and palliative care for animals in 2017. Dr. Dahlgren opened Lovingkindness Veterinary Care in 2018 to expand end of life services for pets and their families.
Gail Mackay, LVT, CCRP, CTMT
Gail obtained her LVT from SUNY Delhi in NY in 1995. She has worked in many areas of veterinary medicine over the years, and came to realize the need for physical rehabilitation for animals. In 2007, she obtained her CCRP, certified canine rehabilitation practitioner from the University of Tennessee.
Gail has enjoyed helping dogs and cats recover from surgery, obtain more mobility and have improved quality of life. She has always been interested in comfort therapy, which lead her to become certified in massage therapy (CTMT) in 2017.
